VISION towards DESTINY - opening conference at our NEW EFSM - grounds

With great excitement and thanksgiving in our hearts, EFS Ministries are proud to announce that we will be having our opening conference at our NEW CHURCH GROUNDS!
Starting the 7th - 11th November 2012  with special guest speakers every evening! We are trusting the Lord for Heavenly Breakthroughs and Godly Encounters over this time...!

I would like to encourage all our readers to continue to follow our blog, I will in the next week or two publish an amazing testimony on how the Lord provided for us with over 8 hectares of ground, and a brand new tent worth at R40 000!

Winds of Change Conference Testimony 11-13 May

We serve a big and awesome God and to Him be all the praise and glory for what I have received during our Winds of Change Conference.

Ever since I came to the Lord in January 2009, I have never experienced the power of the Lord over me like this past weekend. In January 2012 we started Elijah Fire & Sword Ministries under Pastor Abie who is the head of Elijah Fire & Sword Ministries International. In the short time that we have been busy we have received so much prophetic Word that “this is the place where things are going to happen.” We have really become spoilt with amazing services.

Even though most of the people who have attended our services have been slain in the Spirit, I have not experienced it until this this conference. The devil also told me that it won’t happen to me and that it is not really necessary. I have experienced the anointing over me like never before but I was longing for more. I wanted the baptism in the Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, and then also to be slain in the Spirit. Anyone of these two would do.

About 3 weeks before the Conference started I received a dream where I was slain in the Spirit but it was in an empty and unfamiliar place. After I discussed it with Pastor Abie, I was convinced that it will happen to me but not in a familiar place. I started to fast a week before the weekend kicked off because I wanted to make sure that from a spiritual side, I was ready.

The Friday’s service kicked off with a lot of people and a lot of excitement but nothing really happened during the altar call so I went home a little bit disappointed. On the Saturday’s service there was a lot of excitement once again but because of what happened the Friday I had decided that I would not go out for prayer if an altar call was made.         

While Pastor Abie was preaching on Saturday something happened to me when he took the person behind me out of his pew and the Spirit of God slain that man. I wanted to jump up because something started to turn inside my stomach but I remained seated. Then when Pastor Abie came to the front, he took my husband by the hand and prayed over him and the Spirit of God came over him and next moment he was lying on the floor as well. I started to cry and my friend who was sitting next to me started to pray for me, that is all I remember...  

If God is in control, we can’t be in control as well. I was surprised to wake up the Saturday evening past 11 in my own bed, not knowing how I got there. I didn’t even respond to be ministered to, but God came to me, He knew my need and gave me what I longed for.

I had a wonderful meeting with Jesus while I was out, He showed me lots of things, some prophetic, some sorrows, things which I believe is part of heaven, He also asked me a few questions which I had no answer for and many things which I still don’t understand but I know He will explain to me in due time. Best of all is while I was laying there He baptised me with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.

I am glad to be part of what the Lord is doing and I know greater things are still coming. I give all the honour and glory to Jesus for He alone is worthy to receive all the glory and honour.  These are just some of the photos that were taken, but I feel that they still do not do justice to what took place over the weekend. If you could not make it, you really missed out and need to make an effort to come and join us next time round. Here with us you will see and feel the presence of God, guaranteed. If you are still doubting if there is actually a God, COME! See for yourself.

Pastor Abie preached the Word with power and did not hold back. He really is an anointed son of God and we learn so much from him. He is an inspiration to us all. He truly has a passion for the gospel. When he talks, it's action, action, all the way.

People were slain in the spirit as the hand of God touched them.

P.S. Pastor Abie did not.

Expectation was the order of the day and people eagerly desired the manifested presence of God.

God encounters and breakthroughs was the order of the day.

People felt a release and the joy of the Lord as He touched them. Liberty and freedom flooded the services.

Emotional healing took place.

When the Lord moves, one cannot but change and respond to His loving call.



Greater things are still to come!

Feedback from Easter Conference 2012 (Mooinooi)

Our 3rd DAY EASTER CONFERENCE was truly a time flooded with the power and presence of the Holy Spirit..! Many lives where touched, changed and transformed but most of all there where God Encounters for many..! It is only HE that can turn a circumstance or a situation around...!

Long enough have the "church" experienced "man-encounters" and "man-sermons". We leave services unchanged and untouched, still broken...! I believe its time NOW! more than ever before, for the HOLY SPIRIT to take charge of our gatherings and services! "from visitation to habitation!"
I praise God for what He has done over this Easter Conference! Thank you Heavenly Father for always being so faithful, for the good work You have started, You will surely complete!

I have included below a letter from one of the congregation members of Mooinooi which attended, I believe this serves as a great testimony to what God has done over this time..!

"We serve a God which associates Himself with man...!"

The Lord sent forth His prophet to challenge us..to see.. to see deep within ourselves. God gives his prophet a plan, a set of instructions to serve Mooinooi. Every instruction having their own birthplace, this conference (3rd Day) gave Elijah Fire & Sword Ministries healing, victory, revival and salvation.

Just as Elijah the prophet built the altar through the word and the Lord answered with fire..so the Lord answered us.(1 Kin 18:36-38)

Chains where broken, hearts where healed and mended, the foolish received insight. Those who doubted the love, goodness and power of God suddenly found themselves in the presence of the Almighty Living God weeping and I believe transformation took place!

All the gates of hell shook as the balm of Gilead, the healing love and power of Jesus, was poured out over peoples' wounds!

Who can wipe away a tear that is not there? Therefore many masks were removed, healing and restoration could take place to the wounds created through rejection and loss of loved ones. Self-worth and identity were restored!

No one allowed the prophet to pass them by...for the prophet knows that God has a plan for every individual and a new day dawned for many...!

The Spirit of God moved like a mighty wind, people where healed and baptised in the Holy Spirit speaking in tongues...! Stumbling blocks of the past became stepping-stones for the future!

"Hanna's" was resurrected in Mooinooi (1 Sam 1:9-10) they stood up and decided to do something about their situation, leaping in faith towards God, putting surrender in their past, stretching forth towards a new future, one of purpose and destiny!

"Elijah's" stood up...God clothed them with authority, for their commitment towards Him has no boundaries and they are full of passion! I know their prayers will be answered and results are sure to come! The mantle was picked up. Hallelujah! the King saw them...! for their hearts are devoted to His Kingdom! They called and fire came down!

We serve the God of the Resurrection! The grave is empty and our hearts are flooded!

God prepared Elijah Fire & Sword  Ministries in advance! He flooded the place like a storm, a tornado!, a true advertisement of His unmerited favour! (Zac 10:1)

Thank you Jesus for what you have done at this Easter Conference!
